With summer plans all booked, I forgotten one small detail... what to pack in my suitcase! And with a tight budget, a shopping spree is definitely not in the cards. But I have been able to come up with a solution which might help you guys too with your wardrobes. RECYCLING! It seems many bloggers have 'ways to wear' posts but I don't think it makes the top or your new leggings look new again. And that's why I have created 'SELECTION IS THE OPTION'. This post is about how am going to make a simple and cheap jumpsuit into three different outfits for separate occasions, starting with a casual and effortless look.

One just isn't enough.
Who said accesories had to be limited? Let's face it! There comes a time in our lives, especially as students that our bank accounts aren't going be as fullfilling as we wished they would be. I recently felt the credit crunch biting me in the back and so I was unable to shop :( To cheer myself up I raded my mother's closet for new outfits and came accross this beautfiful, vintage silk scarf. But a scarf isn't just a scarf in my books....

polka boo, I see you
Polka Dot!
Mesh, pastel and leopard print trends may come and go but it seems the polka dot fever never ceases to fade away. From a tailored jumpsuit to a casual dress, polka dots have found their way into our wardrobes. Floral patterns have become the MUST-WEAR for this summer but I guarantee you that a cute, symmetric polka skirt is so much more versatile and unpredictable. I recently observed the runways and designers such as Kors and Stella-McCartney have also implemented this trend in into their spring line. I have adpated these looks BUT with a cheaper price tag!
Designers: Stella-McCartney, Marc Jacobs
The Alternative: ASOS marketplace

Polka Dots are not always coventional, the black and white can at times been seen as tedious and plain. However, Stella-McCartney has proven to us that this trend can be stepped outside of its comfot zone by adding a POP of colour. I particuarly loved the yellow and white design and went looking for a cheaper alternative.
The alternative: A long top top which I cut into a croppy, just to add a summer vibe to the outfit, I bought this at a local charity shop in Leicester.
The alternative: River Island , much more modern take on the trend of polka dot, it has two layers of fabric which adds originality.

Never Trust A Man Who Wears Double Denim
I know its been a while but with exams and all I just cannot seem to find any free time to sit ad relax! But I bring a trend which isn't always loved by Fashonistas ... DOUBLE DENIM! I recently bought a pair dungarees from a charity shop and made it my own by cutting some holes in a few places and making it shorter for the summer. But I also wanted to strut my new dungarees in the heavy British rain and decided to wear it not only as a piece but a top as well.
